Welcome to Horizons Unlimited Christian Academy preschool, we strive to provide a safe, healthy, Christian environment in which a child can grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and physically. Horizons Unlimited Christian Academy is an extension of the outreach of Bethlehem Bible Church of Sarasota. By providing full day care with a sound educational program, we serve the needs of those families that require such a service.
We believe that the presence and love of Christ can and should be interwoven within the entire school day. We offer an enriched program of developmental creative activities, including an extensive pre-kindergarten program. It is our belief that every child matters and we welcome children of any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin.

Horizons Unlimited Christian Academy is focusing on the STEAM Curriculum which is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics.
Science activities include exploring water, plants, animals, and sand, comparing and contrasting natural materials like rocks and soil, rolling balls across the room, and looking through a magnifying glass to count how many legs are on the bug that was caught during outdoor play.
Technology activities include computers, dismantling and reassembling objects, but also identifying simple machines like gears and wheels and pulleys as well as how they work.
Engineering in preschool happens in the block area. There children are planning and designing structures every day with little teacher direction.
Arts Activities include engaging children in process-oriented activities to explore, create, and reflect on their own art and their experiences in the arts.
Math activities include counting and matching shapes and making patterns. Measuring is easy too, especially with unit blocks where two of one size equal one of the next size up. Number sequence, number sense, serialization and patterns.
